Our Mission Statement

To build leaders who will embody and strengthen our values within the Jewish and wider community through inspiring, developing and empowering Jewish youth.

What we do

We hold weekly chapter meetings in various locations around the country. They are run by executives who are elected members of the chapter.

We also run loads of residential camps throughout the year. We ran camps for everybody, leadership training courses and trips to Israel.

Ideologies

We are very proud of our 5 ideologies and they have an impact of everything that we do as a youth movement.

The ideologies are a focus in every event that we run, and they mean different things to all of our different members.

BBYO definitions: 

• Pluralism - BBYO is an open space for everyone to share and discuss all the different types of Judaism.
  
  
• Judaism
  
  
• Activism - Action to help improving and repairing the world through positive deeds.
  
  
• Peer Leadership - A leader organises, inspires and takes responsibility for a group.
  
  
• Zionism - A commitment to the concept of Jewish peoplehood (Am Yisrael), and the expression of that in the land of Israel.
