District Leadership Training CourseDLTC (District Leadership Training Course) is a 6 day event that takes place in August after Shorashim and our Israel events have all finished.  What is DLTC? It isan intensive leadership course that will push your leadership abilities,develop you as a Madrich(a) and equip you with everything necessary to furtheryour BBYO involvement and help you to learn important skills that you will usein the future. DLTC integratesmany streams of leadership - from BBYO to the wider community. We engage alarge number of external organisations to be part of DLTC so that participantsgain a well-rounded picture of who the Jewish community are and what we do.Participants should leave DLTC feeling excited to lead us in the years ahead,embodying BBYO's values of Judaism, Zionism, Activism, Pluralism, and PeerLeadership; as well as much improved senses of identity - both Jewish andotherwise. As with all our events, DLTC includes sessions where we 'practicewhat we preach' - with social action days, Israel rallies, and much more; aswell DLTCis the highest leadership course that BBYO offers, it is an experience not tobe missed. As in the past, it is open by invitation to those chanichim who theoffice staff, National Executive and Chapter Presidents as well as Bogrimbelieve to have the potential to truly develop as a leader on a programmeunlike any other offered by other youth movements. DLTCis compulsory for those who wish to stand for the National Executive. It is also strongly recommended that thosewishing to stand for the Presidency or Vice-Presidency of their chapters toattend.
