It's almost half-past midnight and I can't sleep so I thought I'd take this opportunity to wish all our members, family and friends a very happy, healthy and sweet new year.

5769 has been particularly excellent for BBYO and it's our hope that 5770 sees our movement grow even stronger.

Coincidentally, 5770 coincides with BBYO's 70th birthday - watch this space for details of how we're going to be celebrating...

And with a brand new National Executive, things look really exciting. Amongst other things we're going to be strengthening our bogrim networking, improving the Jewish educational content of all our programmes and working closely with the execs and chapters to build for the future.

We're going to be getting lots of people involved in lots of different projects, such as the bogrim journal Me'itanu, the new BBYO siddur and the challenge of making BBYO more sustainable.

All in all, things are going well and we can't wait to take BBYO to new heights in the coming year - I hope it's a good one for all of us!
