National Executive 

Peer Leadership is a big part of BBYO, and one of the ways we express this is by having a National Executive who help to lead events, and create a vision for the movement during their year. The National Exec is made up of 6 positions:

• National President: Their job is to oversee the running of the movement, and keep in mind the big picture.
• National Vice: They mainly concentrate on membership within the movement, coming up with ideas on how to boost membership, and make sure all the members are happy. They also help the President.
• National Admin: Manages the Yofi fund, and makes sure its all on track, and organises fundraisers throughout the year.
• National Programmer: Makes sure that the programming standard for all events is at a high level, and organises programming days throughout the year.
• National Welfare: Keeps the welfare of all the members in check by organising social action and welfare days and events.
• National JZA: Organises Jewish and Zionist events and makes sure that the chapters produces programmes with this content in mind.

Chapter Executives

Every chapter has a team of peer leaders who run the meetings. They are elected by the members of the chapter and are the same age.

Depending on the size of the chapter, the number of positions on the executive ranges from 4 to 7, with positions that are broadly in line with the positions on the National Executive.

The committee run weekly meetings which vary from socials to educational programmes that they write and run themselves.
