A note from the BBYO Trustees

The BBYO Trustees mourn the sudden passing of our former Treasurer and Chairman. Frank was a wonderful friend and support to our members and staff for 30 years. We wish long life to his sister Lynne and family.

"Frank Morris was the treasurer on the youth commission for BBYO and then a director for over a decade which he committed passionately and selflessly. He was always a real character, taking no nonsense from anyone who might threaten the financial security he felt we had slowly and successfully built up. Although he never attended BBYO himself as a member, he saw the value in the magical powers BBYO instils in its members who carry the transferable skills over into the wider community. Frank had retired from work a few years earlier and was enjoying being an active member of the Bournemouth Jewish community. Definitely a creature of habit, (he always loved his favourite meals at his favourite restaurants on certain days of the week), he was one of the few people one might meet who worked completely altruistically, not needing praise or recognition.

Frank will be missed by all that knew him."
