About Camp BBYO
Shorashim’s ten unforgettable days are led by our passionate tzevet, all BBYO alumni, who give their hearts and energy to ensuring every moment is meaningful, fun, and connecting. Through friendship, adventure, and shared experiences, teens deepen their connection to their Jewish roots, to Israel in a way that feels authentic to them, and to an inspiring community of peers from across the UK and beyond.
Camp BBYO is also known as Shorashim, the Hebrew word for 'roots'. This isn’t just a summer camp - it’s where roots are planted, confidence grows, and teens truly find their home at BBYO.
At Shorashim, we’re proudly pluralist and inclusive. We welcome Jewish teens from all backgrounds, levels of engagement, and financial circumstances. No matter your story, you’ll find a safe, supportive space where you’re encouraged to be yourself and bring out the best in others.
