About Winter Con
Machaneh Choref is BBYO UK's flagship annual event - bringing together over 100 teens from across the UK for a four-day weekend packed with fun, friendship, leadership, and Jewish connection. 2025 was our biggest winter convention in recent memory, and 2026 is set to go even further.
At the heart of the weekend is our exceptional National Executive: a dedicated cohort of teen leaders, supported by experienced staff, who plan and deliver every moment of the programme with intention. From a spiritual and educational Shabbat experience, Chapter Spirit Cup, to a ruach-filled Havdalah, sports, games, and a last-night dance party - every moment is designed to be full of fun, meaning, and connection.
Machaneh Choref welcomes teens from Years 7–12 in the main event programme. For Year 13s, we offer a special leadership track designed to support the transition from BBYO teen to Shorashim summer camp staff member.
Our dedicated welfare support team is on hand throughout the weekend to ensure every teen feels safe, seen, and supported.
